I'm not sure if this retreat is for me...
If you feel tired, stressed, or disconnected and want a day to slow down, recharge and reconnect with your calm and creativity – this day is for you.
What activities are included in the retreat?
Each retreat that I facilitate is slightly different, in order to keep things fresh for those who attend regularly.
There will be a range of activities on offer, which typically include:
– A mindful walk in the beautiful grounds (weather permitting) – I will offer a guided forest bathing session, or you can choose to have time away from the group to connect with nature by yourself if you prefer
– Guided meditations (infused with Reiki healing) – these tend to be around 15-20 minutes in length and are suitable for beginners or those with experience of meditation. The guided meditations will be carefully chosen and themed, to give you peaceful pockets of relaxation throughout the day.
– Mindful craft activity – no experience needed, as I will guide you through the whole process (previous activities have included decoupage journals, aromatherapy roller bottles, bath salts/foot soaks, painted biscuits etc)
– EFT (tapping) as a group for calm and relaxation (you will be able to use these techniques at home afterwards too)
– Exploring oracle cards, chakras, moon cycles and other spiritual themed modalities
– Free time to enjoy mindful colouring, relaxing or connecting/chatting with others
Do I need to be artistic or creative?
No! The creative activity is mindful and beginner-friendly. It is about expression, not skill and I will be on hand to guide, assist and support where necessary.
Is this retreat suitable for beginners and newcomers?
This mindful retreat day is suitable for both beginners and those with experience to enjoy together. It is a good opportunity to experience things you are curious about, but have never tried (such as using oracle cards, pendulums and learning about the moon, chakras etc).
You do not need any prior knowledge of any of the activties, as I will be on hand to guide you and answer any questions you may have.
It will be a gentle day, without pressure or expectation, for you to experience the magic of mindfulness and meditation.

The retreat starts at 10am (but you are encouraged to arrive from 9.45am to settle in with a cuppa), and finishes at approximately 5pm.
There will be a break for lunch and also when refreshments are served during the day.
The guided meditations and activities will be spaced throughout the day, to give you time between for relaxing and getting to know the others.
This will be a relaxing day, with no rush or strict timetable to adhere to!
If you would rather take yourself off for a walk oustide, or settle in a quiet corner to do some mindful colouring, in place of one of the activities, you are welcome to do so.

Who am I?
Hi, I’m Julie
I’m a Transformational Life Coach, Reiki Master and EFT Practitioner, passionate about helping others who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, to reconnect with themselves.
Over the years, I’ve witnessed how powerful it is when we finally pause long enough to hear our own needs – and how transformative it can be when you reconnect with your inner wisdom, creativity and purpose.
That’s why I lovingly create spaces like this retreat: places where you can rest, breathe, and simply be, without pressure or expectations.
In our time together, I will guide you through soothing meditations infused with Reiki, grounding practices and a mindful creative activity that helps you tap into your inner spark (no artistic skills needed – I promise!).
My approach is nurturing, intuitive, and heart-led, designed to help you feel safe, supported and gently renewed.
This retreat is your invitation to slow down, realign, and return home to yourself – and I am honoured to hold that space for you.
“I loved this day, having been last year it was a definite on my calendar.
It’s so nice to switch off from day to day stuff. Not have any responsibilities for the day and be me. Julie facilitates the day really well with kindness and empathy. “
